As President of Bryant & Associates, P.C., my primary responsibility includes overseeing the daily operations of the business. As a small business owner myself, I’ve experienced many of the same trials and tribulations that many of our clients experience. My goal is to provide small business owners with the resources to help them create, identify and achieve their goals. I work closely with my staff to develop tax strategies for our clients. My team strives to educate our clients to make good, knowledgeable business decisions to help them achieve those objectives.
I am a CPA who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Doane College with an accounting degree. I am an active member of the Professional Association of Small Business Accountants (PASBA), serving on numerous committees. I am a contributing author to “The Lean, Mean Business Machine” and “The Six Steps to Small Business Success.” I am married and have two children. My husband and I are avid Nebraska Women’s Basketball fans. I enjoy running and spending time with friends and family and when I can find extra time, I love to quilt.
As Account manager, I offer accounting experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements. I also process payroll and payroll tax returns for various business clients. One of my main task at the firm is to bring on new clients. I do this by educating them on our services and how we are different than other firms. My goal is to inform these small business owners that we are here to help with their tax planning and business strategy needs.
I am a graduate of Lindenwood University with a Bachelors of Business Administration, where I studied a broad field of accounting, finance, and marketing. Also while I was at Lindenwood I was on the shotgun team where we won four national championships. Outside of the office I spend most of my time being outdoors hunting, fishing, shooting and husker football games.
As Tax Manager, I bring more than 25 years of assisting individuals with their tax filing requirements. Specializing in individual tax returns has allowed me to keep abreast of the specifics related to the many tax laws and changes that have been introduced, expired and get initiated each year. Part of my yearly educational process includes working as a Volunteer Income Tax Preparer with the Lincoln Action Program with education through the IRS. That gives me an extra outlet to professional tax advice as well as added experience in the variety of returns. I am a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Doane College with a degree in Business Administration. I spent 18 years as an Investment Advisor, and 12 of those as Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction.
I have two grown, married children and really enjoy spending time with the 6 grandchildren they have blessed me with. In my spare time, I am a hospice volunteer, thespian, attend classes through OLLI, have a Personal Assistant business and travel as much as possible with friends and family. I am CFO for several non-profits in the state and help advise seniors in their end of life decisions.
